At Peak Rehabilitation Hospital, we are committed to ensuring that financial challenges never stand in the way of receiving high-quality inpatient rehabilitation. Our Charity Care Program offers support for patients who may not have the resources to cover the full cost of their treatment.
We provide a clear, compassionate, and confidential application process to help individuals determine eligibility for partial or full financial assistance. Determination of the ability to pay takes into account several variables—including household income, family size, medical expenses, and other relevant financial factors—and is conducted in a manner consistent with the standards and practices of Duke Health and WakeMed.
Our team works closely with patients and families to guide them through the required documentation, answer questions, and ensure timely review.
